Job Description

  • Manages the shipping workflow and other warehouse operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assigns tasks and work orders to warehouse associates to optimize productivity.
  • Maintains the daily shipping and receiving schedule to meet customer demands.
  • Dispatches and answers inbound truck orders to expedite delivery.
  • Reviews open and closed sales orders and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Categorizes inventory and completes inventory tracking to prevent discrepancies.
  • Creates and files sales orders, invoices, productivity reports, packing lists, and other documentation to maintain compliance.
  • Works closely with the customer service team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborates with the warehouse supervisor and associates to improve processes.
  • Assists the operations department with fulfillment and quality control to maintain high standards.
  • Escalates issues to managers when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Utilizes warehouse management systems (WMS) and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) software to streamline operations.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar role essential.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures necessary.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, a must.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting crucial.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if applicable).
