The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting and selling farm produce while ensuring compliance with all necessary licensing and regulatory requirements. This role involves market research, customer engagement, sales growth, branding, and handling the application of relevant licenses to facilitate lawful business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Establishment

    • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify target markets, trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes for farm produce.

    • Develop strategic marketing plans to promote and sell these products, maximizing profits by matching consumer needs.

    • Monitor competitor activity and stay up-to-date on market developments.
  2. Branding and Promotion

    • Establish and manage the company's brand identity across various platforms.

    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across social media platforms, fostering engagement and brand awareness.

    • Manage the company's website and social media accounts, ensuring consistency and relevance.

    • Conceive and develop effective marketing strategies, leveraging digital channels and traditional methods.
  3. Sales and Logistics

    • Develop unique sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

    • Collaborate with Farm Operation teams to arrange logistics for smooth and timely product distribution.

    • Ensure packaging aligns with marketing and branding efforts, enhancing product appeal and customer satisfaction.

    • Record sales data and track marketing performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
  4. Customer Engagement & Support

    • Respond to customer inquiries and provide detailed product information, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.

    • Handle complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, maintaining a positive reputation for the company.

    • Educate customers on the benefits and quality of farm produce, building trust and loyalty.
  5. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

    • Identify and obtain necessary licenses and permits required for selling farm produce, adhering to local and national regulations.

    • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with food safety and business regulations, minimizing risks and liabilities.

    • Maintain records of licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory compliance, staying organized and proactive.
  6. Reporting and Analysis

    • Generate reports for marketing campaigns using database analytics tools, presenting insights in an easy-to-understand format.

    • Track and analyze sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management, informing strategic decisions.
  7. Public Relations and Networking

    • Manage public relations, fostering strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and other key stakeholders.

    • Cultivate relationships for promotional endeavors, attending events and conferences to expand networks.
  8. Strategic Planning and Budgeting

    • Prepare and deliver marketing plans to achieve key objectives, aligning with company goals and vision.

    • Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses, ensuring effective resource allocation.
