We are seeking a skilled Conveyancing Lawyer to join our team at Tay Chambers. As a leading full-service law firm in Malaysia, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment that fosters growth and development.
Job ScopeThe successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of conveyancing matters, including sub-sales, developer projects, discharge, perfection of charge, perfection of transfer, and other related tasks. They will also be expected to manage loan documentation for mortgage, SME, and corporate loans, draft agreements with minimal supervision, and liaise with clients, bankers, developers, and governmental bodies.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and a current Practicing Certificate. A minimum of five years of practice in the conveyancing field is preferred, although fresh graduates may also apply. Strong legal research skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, and a positive attitude are essential.
Additional ResponsibilitiesThe Conveyancing Clerk will be responsible for handling, preparing, and assisting with subsale SPA, Loan, Perfection, Discharge, and other conveyancing-related matters. They will also be expected to liaise with clients, bankers, and lawyers, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage time well to meet deadlines.
