Banquet Operations Manager

Overview:
At Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Banquet Manager to join our Food & Beverage team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for the efficient running of banqueting operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and exceeding brand standards.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in managing banqueting services. You will oversee the marketing and promotion of our banqueting facilities, working closely with internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth and deliver excellent service.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the efficient running of banqueting operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our banqueting facilities, increasing revenue and driving business growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of event coordinators and other support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, chefs, and other departments, to deliver exceptional events and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or large restaurant environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualifications: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines.
- Certifications: Basic knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices.
