Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify areas for reduction and recommend process improvements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor progress.

Pricing and Costing

  1. Develop pricing strategies that balance costs, market conditions, and profit margins in consultation with the Sales team.
  2. Establish accurate costing models for new products and regularly review existing ones based on changing raw material prices, manufacturing processes, and labor costs.

Costing System Maintenance

  1. Ensure the accuracy and up-to-dateness of the costing system, aligning it with standard costs.

Reporting and Communication

  1. Prepare comprehensive reports on cost variances, trends, and KPIs and facilitate regular discussions with stakeholders to address any issues.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is necessary for this role.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related field is required, preferably with experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and costing methodologies is crucial.
  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory.
