Job Overview

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Finance to lead and manage various financial activities for the Group. This role requires an experienced professional with excellent leadership skills and strong knowledge in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, analysis, tax computation and compliance, treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational finance matters, ensuring efficient handling of key financial operations such as intercompany transactions, e-invoicing, accounts receivable and credit risk management.
  • Oversee the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to financial processes and support ERP enhancements and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper book-keeping and maintenance of full spectrum company accounts, prepare timely management accounts and notes to accounts, and coordinate smooth audit processes.
  • Lead credit control function for non-property companies, ensure effective collections and minimize overdue balances, and oversee collection and credit risk management for all companies within the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by overseeing tax filing, tax computation, tax schedules, and tax estimates, review provisional tax computations and deferred tax calculations, and monitor and manage effective tax rates.
  • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations including loan drawdowns and repayments, interest payments, bank account activities, and placement of short-term funds to ensure optimal liquidity and working capital management.
  • Provide FP&A support at the company, project and business unit levels, including project feasibility studies, financial analysis, strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial projection.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and/or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
  • Must be a member of MIA or a relevant professional body.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or related roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in property/ real estate/ construction finance is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Salary

Estimated salary range: MYR 12,000 - MYR 18,000 per annum.
