Chief Technology Strategist for Enterprise Digital Transformation

As the exclusive executive search partner for a global financial services client, we are seeking a highly experienced Head, Enterprise Architecture to lead their technology function in Kuala Lumpur.

This is a global role with significant responsibilities in shaping the organization's technology strategy and driving digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-develop a comprehensive enterprise digital blueprint and architecture, encompassing vision, strategies, and plans for growth through analysis of target solutions, creation of solution models that integrate between businesses and customers, and leading the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
  • Develop short- and long-term digital and technological solutions through assessment of current and anticipated business needs, conducting wide enterprise research, benchmarking, and providing responses against business pain-points related to technology assets.
  • Conduct an effective assessment of the digital portfolio of the current and emerging digital landscape, identify potential disruptive changes and technologies that could impact the organization's performance and business operations, and steer the implementation of risk assurance on digital portfolios.
  • Lead efforts in setting up, managing, and scaling up the ideation methodology across the organization by establishing design thinking workshops and running innovation labs.
  • Integration architecture design and maintenance will be crucial, focusing on minimizing operational downtime and ensuring optimal performance of integration and transaction processing speed.

Requirements:

  • 13-15 years of working experience in technology, preferably in industry; 7-10 years in an enterprise architecture or solution design position within a fast-paced environment, preferably as an IT Transformation/Digital/IT Strategy/Enterprise Architecture senior level role.
  • Experience in Banking/Financial Services and Consulting would be a major advantage.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation in a dynamic organization.
