Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to protect our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Security Architectures: Develop and implement security architectures for cloud environments, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  2. Ensure Cloud Environment Compliance: Ensure cloud environments comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational security policies.
  3. Enforce Least Privilege Principles: Enforce least privilege principles and regularly review access permissions.
  4. Develop Incident Response Plans: Develop and implement incident response plans specific to cloud environments.
  5. Monitor and Triage Security Findings: Monitor and triage security findings across cloud environments to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Implement Security Automation: Implement security automation and scripting to streamline security processes in the cloud.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 2+ years of experience in cloud security roles, with a focus on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  3. Cloud Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  4. Cloud-Native Security Tools: Experience with cloud-native security tools and services.
  5. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent.
  2. Networking Knowledge: Knowledge of TCP/IP stack, Load balancer, Networking.
  3. DevSecOps Pipeline: Familiarity with the DevSecOps pipeline including relevant tools such as CSPM, CWS, SCA, SAST, and the rest.
  4. Security Tools: Familiarity in security tools like PrismaCloud, AWS Config, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Inspector.
  5. Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  6. Terraform: Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  7. Financial Institution Background: Professional background within financial institutions or the banking sector.
