About the Job
  • You will oversee the planning, design, reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities to ensure they meet our unique operating requirements and building safety codes.
  • Prepare and update Autocad layout drawings for re-layout office, building, engineering equipment, and facilities systems to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You will be responsible for managing facilities cost centers to ensure spending is within budget constraints.
  • Familiarity with FDA/ISO standards and their application to all facility items such as cleanrooms, air/nitrogen supply, product contact water, etc., is essential.
  • Liaise with design teams to ensure designs meet Boston Scientific requirements and standards.
  • You will manage office seating and meeting areas to meet Boston Scientific standards.
  • Develop criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet our unique operating requirements and building safety codes.
  • Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
  • Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
  • You will inspect or direct the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Gather and review data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company restrictions, required completion dates, and construction feasibility.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of short-term and long-term facilities space plans.
  • May be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and planning preventative maintenance.
  • Plan and coordinate periodic shutdowns to service and maintain equipment.
