Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer with a strong background in dredging to join our client's expanding dredging crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the transporting process on Split Hopper Barges, focusing on larger hoppers.
  • Manage and supervise dredging activities and maintenance.
  • Respond effectively to unexpected situations, including emergencies.
  • Work closely with the vessel's master to ensure smooth continuation of production.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Competency of Chief Engineer.
  • Seaman's book.
  • Valid Maritime Approval.
  • Valid STCW training.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English language.
  • Proven experience as Chief Engineer on board Split Hopper Barges.
