Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate refinery projects to achieve optimal results.
  • Implement cost management systems and collaborate with various teams to review and update costs and forecasts.
  • Establish project timelines, monitor progress, and suggest innovative solutions to resolve complex issues.
  • Leverage team members' strengths and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Identify, select, and evaluate contractors, oversee project performance, and handle close-outs.
  • Compile and present progress reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with strict operating standards concerning security, safety, health and environment protection during project execution.
  • Verify that refinery team, third-party contractors, and service providers execute projects on time, thoroughly, and safely.
  • Offer project guidance and support to other departments when needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering with distinguished academic achievements
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in petroleum refineries or chemical plants
  • Proven track record in project management and risk-based integrity management
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills
  • Results-oriented with extensive technical knowledge
  • Readiness to be based at Port Dickson Refinery
