About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Executive to join our team at MCIS Life. As a key member of our Information Security Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Independent Assessments and Advisory

Work closely with management, business leaders, and functional heads to identify and mitigate information security-related risks. Provide expert advice on information security risks and mitigation strategies for projects, initiatives, and operational processes.

  • Support Risk Management and Compliance

Assist in implementing, reviewing, and revising frameworks, policies, and standards on information governance, security, risk management, and compliance. Collaborate with the Head of ISD and independent auditors to identify key risk areas for mitigation and opportunities for improvement.

  • Compliance and Regulatory Frameworks

Review and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, guidelines, circulars, and memos from regulatory bodies. Identify areas of non-compliance and establish compliance roadmaps to address gaps.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Possess a Bachelor's Degree or recognized professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of working experience in information security, preferably in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) in an execution or implementation capacity.

  • Skills and Certifications

Good working understanding of regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, RMiT, PDPA 2012, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks. Working experience with ISO27001, 27002, PCIDSS, Cyber Security/Resilience Framework, and other industry best practices. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and CGEIT are an advantage.
