Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager/Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing client accounts, leading a team of accountants, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare full sets of accounts for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS, MPERS, IFRS).

  2. Ensure timely financial reporting, including financial statements, tax computations, and management reports.

  3. Monitor cash flow management and financial performance analysis, providing clients with insights and recommendations.

  4. Manage audit, tax (SST, withholding tax), and statutory compliance, ensuring all submissions meet LHDN, SSM, and regulatory deadlines.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA/MICPA/CPA Malaysia qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of MFRS, MPERS, SST, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Autocount, SQL, UBS, and Xero.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling, reporting, and analysis.
