Job Overview

Link Compliance, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join their team in Shah Alam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company and contribute to the success of its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead day-to-day financial activities, identifying key findings and providing insights to senior management.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, including audit schedules, to support informed decision-making.
  • Analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate tax computations, estimates, SST, and transfer pricing documentation, ensuring timely compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain fixed assets registers, accurately recording all assets and ensuring accurate accounting.
  • Collaborate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial expertise to drive business growth.
  • Perform monthly inter-company reconciliations and streamline related parties' transactions, inter-company billing, and contra.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare group consolidation accounts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate audits with external auditors, ensuring smooth processes and minimizing disruptions.
  • Implement e-invoicing solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor existing accounting policies, identifying gaps for improvement and driving change initiatives.
  • Promote internal audit and due diligence exercises, contributing to a culture of excellence and risk management.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as required by senior management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
  • Professional certifications (MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are desirable.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems, with excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel to other branches in Malaysia and regional offices for work purposes.
Salary Range:

Ranging from RM80,000 to RM120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
