Your Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the regional strategy for the APAC Infrastructure System Engineering team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Systems Engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
- Manage budgets and expenses for the regional SE team, making informed decisions to optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with regional sales and marketing leaders to align SE support with business needs, delivering a valuable customer experience.
- Map CommScope field technical engineers to accounts and opportunities, defining support expectations and action plans.
- Participate in strategic key accounts planning to align pre-sales technical support and define tactical actions to achieve business goals.
- Provide feedback to product engineering on regional market trends and needs, influencing design features that improve the marketability of CommScope's products.
- Act as a liaison between regional/global customers and manufacturing/engineering, coordinating communication and follow-up on customer technical requests.
- Support new product rollouts with external presentations focused on technical differentiation and value proposition.
- Craft, improve, and deliver solutions presentations for end-user customers and consultants to boost sales of CommScope's products.
- Contribute new material to the larger technical community.
- Support sales and marketing with media activities, including writing articles for publications, assisting with advertising, and preparing technical documentation.
Preferably with a Bachelor/Master's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer, or appropriate field with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Managerial experience required, preferably 5 years minimum. Must be able to lead, develop, motivate, and mentor talent. Knowledgeable of local structured cabling standards, building, electrical, and data-communication codes and regulations. Strong knowledge of current Data Center technologies and industry trends for Enterprise Data Centers, Multi-tenant Data Centers, and AI clusters. Good understanding of LAN/WAN systems and physical media requirements, including wireless applications. Domain expert in many Cabling Solutions and product ranges across assigned CommScope Concentration(s). Ability to influence, train, and mentor channel partners and system integration partners. Deal closing skills to assist sales. Influence business outcomes through product expertise combined with strategic thinking in the commercial landscape and building relationships with high-level customer decision-makers. Ability to create and deliver sales and training presentations with confidence and customer-facing skill.
What We're Looking For:Preferably with a minimum of 10 years structured cabling system design experience, with recent experience in the design of pathways and infrastructure for Data Centers. Possess current industry technical certification (preferred) (such as BICSI RCDD, BICSI DCDC, BICSI OSP). Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain relationships in a culturally diverse environment.
