Accounts Payable Specialist

At RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, vendor invoice management, and reconciliation of accounts payable transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Invoice Management: Prepare, review, and process vendor invoices, ensuring 3-way matching prior to posting into the AP ledger account in our accounting system.
  • Payment Processing: Ensure timely payment processing according to due dates in our accounting system and online banking system.
  • Reconciliation: Perform reconciliation of E-invoice transactions against our accounting system.
  • Documentation Checks: Manage E-invoice documentation checks against PO/DO/IR.
  • Payment Run and Analysis: Perform payment run and analyze payment patterns; prepare spend reports.
  • Expense Reports: Prepare and analyze expense reports; ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close.
  • Discrepancies: Investigate discrepancies between invoices and E-invoice transactions, purchase orders, and goods receipts, and act to resolve those and pay the invoices on time.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Handle non-standard questions and requests from suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure that internal controls, procedures, and mechanisms comply with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry requirements. Identify gaps and propose changes in narratives.
  • SST Payment Reconciliation: Perform SST payment reconciliation and payment to custom upon due date.
  • Statistics and Reports: Deliver statistics and reports to Authorities or other external statistics as specified by local, regional, federal, or state authorities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Accounting/Finance. ACCA/CPA/MIA preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of account payable experiences.
  • Skills: Well-versed in payment processes, electronic fund transfer, and online payment platform. Passion about reconciliations on AP aging, variance report analysis.
