About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead our Shared Service Center (SSC) site, overseeing the transition and establishment of finance operations across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transfer of financial processes, systems, and data from regional Business Units to the SSC.
    • Represent the SEA region within the global finance organization, serving as the primary point of contact for SSC's streams and setup.
  • Site Operations Management
    • Manage and deliver all site operations, ensuring high levels of customer service satisfaction and meeting all timelines and deliverables.
    • Coordinate with key site contacts and contractors to optimize facility usage and maintain safety and security standards.
  • Process Improvement and Standardization
    • Partner with SSC stream leads, BU finance, and outsourced parties to establish and adjust service levels, performance metrics, and technology requirements as needed.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of SSC employees, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial services to regional stakeholders.
  • Risk Management and Compliance
    • Identify and highlight any areas of concern or risks related to non-compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with global process owners to standardize and optimize processes, including improvements, automations, or system upgrades.
  • Communication and Training
    • Support communication of changes and training for all team members (local, SSC, outsourcing) regarding processes or automation.
    • Escalate any business continuity challenges or performance issues with outsourcing parties to the Outsourcing Contract Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills
    • Comprehensive understanding of the review processes governing all finance activities and related controls across PTP, OTC, and RTR.
    • High integrity, independent, analytical, with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
    • Over 10 years of experience in people and talent management, leading teams of 30+ in the F&A domain, preferably within an SSC, though BPO experience will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in managing and advising C-level stakeholders, with an open and transparent personality.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, Blackline, Power BI, and SAP ECC.
    • Experienced in operating within companies adhering to IFRS and SOX standards.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Experienced in managing, monitoring, and reporting on internal controls compliance.
    • Experienced in leveraging data insights to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for improvement.
    • Proficient in International Accounting Standards.
