We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Payments Sales team in Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) and Fintech. As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and facilitating the implementation of strategic initiatives for ASEAN markets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive account plans, research materials, client analysis, and client proposals to identify strategic opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive project/initiatives of strategic focus for Malaysia and other ASEAN markets, including conducting research, preparing client presentations, and participating in internal review and approval processes.
  • Building strong relationships with internal partners to provide connectivity across the firm and promote cross-regional collaboration.
  • Providing critical support to Sales teams in client onboarding activities, including client due diligence, onboarding approval process, pricing & billing structures, and implementation process for new and existing clients.
  • Liaising closely with the Client Service & Implementation team in new account opening and product setups for new and existing clients to ensure accurate and timely implementation.
  • Managing the pipeline, maintaining accurate information, and facilitating Sales on required deal governance processes and proper documentation filing per internal guidelines.
  • Assisting Sales in promoting an effective operative risk environment, including accurate and timely new onboarding/renewals, Know Your Clients and other internal reporting and/or approval requirements, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Request for Information database and status tracker, and work with clients and internal teams on AML-related matters to smoothen compliance investigations and screening.
  • Coordinating client events (forums/roundtables) and communication to promote and strengthen J.P. Morgan's franchise, including invitation delivery, event materials preparation, marketing printouts, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong drive and rigor to ensure all facets of the business and portfolio succeed.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills.
  • Strong team player who will work collaboratively with Global and Regional stakeholders within the firm including Global Corporate Bank, Securities Services, Markets, Investment Banking, Investor Client Management, and other Commercial and Investment Bank colleagues.
