**Responsibilities**:
Lead the Laboratory department which covers new product development, product quality, evaluation and analyst, staff development & training.

The incumbent will:

- Ensure all products manufactured in compliance with standards.
- Ensure testing and inspections are performed vigorously.
- Monitor all quality related improvement programs in the factory.
- Investigate and report to management on the quality issue or complaint raise by the customer.
- Maintain and update Quality, Food and Feed Management System
- Monitor internal audit and external audit.
- Improve the department in terms of manpower management, output quality, documentation, peripherals requirements / maintenance and update management system.
- Manage and execute special projects assigned by the management as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Applied Sciences or Biochemistry
- Minimum 5 years management experience in manufacturing environment
- Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of various test methods on oleo chemicals, specialty fats, shortening, margarine, boiler, effluent treatment, etc.
- In dept knowledge of Quality Assurance Systems and procedures
- Good analytical mind, able to communicate effectively, lead and motivate subordinates besides possessing initiative and drive.
- Good understanding of management system includes FSSC, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO45001
- Independent, resourceful, and able to take pressure under fast pace working environment.

Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience.

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
