**Role Purpose**:

- As the Creative Lead - Social Media at Malaysia Airlines, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's social presence and engagement strategy. In today's fast-paced social media landscape, we are seeking a dynamic individual who is not only quick to react to trends but also possesses a deep understanding of all things social. You will lead a team of social media talents, driving them towards innovative strategies that elevate our brand and engage our audience effectively.

**Key Accountability**:

- Team Leadership and Development: Guide and support the social media team to foster teamwork, creativity, and ongoing learning. Establish clear goals and empower team members to excel.
- Content Strategy and Creation: Create and execute a robust content strategy to highlight Malaysia Airlines' unique offerings while meeting audience preferences. Oversee engaging content creation across various social platforms.
- Trend Analysis and Insights: Stay updated on social media trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities. Use data insights to optimize content and identify new opportunities.
- Community Engagement and Brand Advocacy: Build brand loyalty by engaging with followers, addressing inquiries promptly, and promoting positive user-generated content. Champion the Malaysia Airlines brand and foster brand advocates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall business goals. Support marketing campaigns and product launches through integrated strategies.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish KPI and metrics to measure social media effectiveness of social media efforts. Analyze data regularly to provide actionable recommendations for optimization and present findings to senior management.
- Crisis Management and Reputation Protection: Develop and implement robust protocols to handle social media crises and protect the brand's reputation while maintain proactive reputation management strategies.
- Innovation and Experimentation: Encourage innovation within the team and explore new ways to engage the audience. Embrace a test-and-learn approach for continuous improvement.
- Influencer and Partnership Management: Cultivate relationships with key influencers and strategic partners to expand social media reach. Collaborate on co-branded campaigns, influencer activations, and partnership opportunities that align with our brand values and objectives.
- Agency Management: Responsible for overseeing relationships with external social media agencies, ensuring alignment with Malaysia Airlines' brand values, objectives, and standards. Provide strategic direction, guidance, and feedback to agency partners to drive successful campaign execution, while monitoring performance against KPIs and managing budgets effectively. Foster collaboration and transparency to maximize the value delivered by agency partnerships, maintaining accountability and quality standards throughout.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of driving engagement and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
