**International Modern Arabic School Job Title: Operations/Security Officer Reports To: Deputy Head of School**

**Purpose: To ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school by maintaining security and safety procedures, supporting school activities, and assisting in managing student affairs and supervision.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Review and Maintain Security and Safety Procedures**
- Patrol school grounds, including buildings, parking lots, and playgrounds, to

maintain a visible security presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to prevent unauthorized access

and ensure the safety of all individuals on school property.
- Check identification and credentials of visitors, ensuring only authorized

individuals are allowed entry.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes as necessary.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the school.
- Document and report all security incidents, including thefts, vandalism,

altercations, and suspicious activities.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and submit them to the Operations I/C for

review and follow-up.
- Cooperate with law enforcement agencies (upon the advice of the head of

school) when necessary, providing assistance and information as required.

**2. Assist Phase Leaders in Discipline Policy Management**
- Collaborate with phase leaders to develop, implement, and enforce the school's

discipline policy.
- Provide support to phase leaders in managing disciplinary issues, ensuring
- Assist in developing behaviour management strategies and intervention plans

for students with recurrent disciplinary issues.

**3. Maintain and Analyse Disciplinary Records**
- Keep comprehensive and up-to-date records of all disciplinary actions taken,

including incidents, actions, and outcomes.
- Work with phase leaders to consolidate disciplinary data and provide regular

reports and analyses to school leadership.
- Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements to the discipline

policy and practices.

**4. Supervise School Attendants**
- Lead and supervise a team of school attendants, providing them with guidance

and support in their daily tasks.
- Conduct on-the-job training for attendants to ensure they are equipped with the

necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of school attendants, providing feedback

and support for continuous improvement.

**5. Assist in Managing Student Affairs and Supervision**
- Collaborate with teachers to assist in managing student affairs, ensuring

students’ needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch breaks, and other times

when they are outside of classrooms.
- Supervise students during school activities, ensuring their safety and proper

behaviour.

**6. Additional Responsibilities**
- Assist in other areas as deemed fit by the Head of School, providing support

where needed to ensure the smooth operation of the school.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,350.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
