**Job Purpose**:
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible to provide overall coordination of turnkey and largescale projects that involves multiple internal and external engineers in technology services (installation services that is attached to a new line card product sale), solutions implementation (bespoke tailor made implementation services comprising of multiple products) and maintenance support services (remedial and preventive maintenance services). The existence of this position is strategic and to differentiate Tech Data as a Value Added Distributor for our business partners. This position is accountable in providing successful turnkey and largescale IT implementation to our customers. This role contributes into achieving overall Singapore business financial targets.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintains & provides support on Microsoft Cloud computing technology such as Azure and Office 365
- Provides strong production support for Azure and Office 365 deployments
- Understands general/common infrastructure services and technologies in the cloud computing world
- Works with Microsoft to escalate Technical Support issues and resolve them with backup support from Microsoft
- Ability to work in shifts to support round the clock support
- Provides technical implementation plan, installation service Statement of Work and configuration design expertise to customers and presales on specified product line(s). Uses independent judgement and discretion in preparing these deliverables. No second-level review occurs.
- Provides quotation, coordination, solution validation, problem solving and managing escalations with both internal and external System Engineers on projects and tasks in largescale implementations.
- Undergo technical trainings and obtain technical certifications that are required by product line cards or inline with management objectives
- Carrying out the technology, professional and maintenance support services as per scope/SOW within the stipulated duration/ timeline with mínimal or no revisits/reworks
- Perform technical demonstration or product Proof of Concept (PoC) and conduct trainings
- Determine the required services scope based on requirements or provide Bill of Material (BoM), calculate the required man-day effort required in the delivering the service and prepare the services quotation
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- Expertise in implementation of Server, Storage, Networks, Security infrastructure on-premises and/or Cloud environments is preferred
- Seeks to build high customers satisfaction (internal and external)
- 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.
- Cantonese language is must.
- High School Graduate with Engineering or Information Technology field of study required.
- Post-Sales implementation certifications for engineers.
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to use a 10-key quickly and accurately.
- Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
