Planning Development Manager

Develop and implement research and development procedures (R&D). - Sustaining R&D activities for current products being manufactured continue training, monitoring, and guiding team on R&D operations. - Lead new product introductions and key projects to support business goals. - Ensure product designs are user friendly and meeting safety & statutory requirements - Manage and direct research and development team -Manage raw-material and supply-chin of company - Provide technical oversight and expertise. - Establish project goals and priorities in co-ordination with concerned teams. - Ensure design aspects, material, prototype etc. are effectively coordinated and budgets adhered to. - Productionising new customer products received/ in pipeline with competitive cost, quality by carrying out applicable R&D activities such as design verification, validation, protype build, documentation etc. and launching within agreed timelines. - Handling in design and development of complex and customized Printed Circuit Boards. - Understand customer expectations on the new product design. - Study and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers. - Help HR to hire new R&D personnel. - Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing process. - Evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment. - Suggest training tools and training to enhance employee performance and skill development. - Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of company goals. - Handle documentation for research and development activities.
