**Job Summary**

The Program Leader reports to the President or designate for management of existing programs and the development of new programs that are in his/her area of knowledge.

**Responsibilities**

The day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

- Manage all areas of the music and audio production programs, in compliance with documented processes and the statutory regulators
- Oversee student recruitment, admissions, and student experience, including auditions, entrance tests and academic counseling
- Oversee all aspects of teaching and learning (instruction, assessments, internship and sufficiency of physical resources for learning)
- Teach minimum eight (8) hours a week on modules in your area of expertise (see addendum on teaching tasks)
- Conduct Course Committee meetings, Faculty meetings and assessment board meetings to report on issues and solutions
- Measure and report on outcomes of admissions, pass/fail rate and continuous improvement action plans
- Manage institutional academic partnerships and act as the key liaison on these partnership
- Engage in academic/ professional settings to serve the College and the community
- Participate as an internal quality auditor to audit other departments in line with the College’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

In addition to the above, the Program leader may also be called upon to contribute to the College’s development, on areas which are in his/her expert ability, as assigned and mutually agreed with the President/designate.

**A. Job Requirement**
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Music
- Minimum 5 years of managing a music program at college/university level
- Proficient in MQA and MoHE academic regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sibelius, Pro Tools and/or Logic Audio
- Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous
- Proven track record of academic leadership

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
