Job Responsibilities:

- Underwriting/Product Development & Management
- Analyzing risks, preparing P&L and underwriting decision, within underwriting procedures and appetite.
- Develop an efficient set of processes that deliver creative, customized underwriting and risk management solutions while meeting the expectations of our partners.
- Develop products, pricing, underwriting and risk segmentation strategies for multiple distribution channels & partners.
- Coordinates pricing and portfolio management activities for all distribution channels.
- Maintaining and building effective relationships with existing and new business partners.
- Undertake market and portfolio analysis to identify business opportunities, products and clients.
- Coordinates pricing and portfolio management activities for all distribution channels.
- Effectively represent self and team in external and internal activities and committees.
- Reviews Underwriting and Pricing for all TPR risks and escalate when risks exceed agreed authority levels.
- Works with Operations and Systems management to develop business requirements for systems to support the TPR
- Assures consistent underwriting processes through the development of Underwriting Best Practices and management of all distribution channels.
- Responsible for all producer profit management programs to include establishing targets, monitoring results, and taking appropriate actions to insure profitability and effectiveness of the channel.
- Maintains intimate knowledge of current regulatory issues, economic indicators, marketing trends and competitor strategies.
- Educate Insurance Partners and distribution channels on the underwriting best practices for all Tune Protect products.
- Evaluates products for fit and positioning within target distribution channels.
- Works with marketing in the development of new product offerings.
- Responsible for the management of accumulations and aggregates particularly in Cat prone areas.

2. Compliance and risk management
- Ensure the underwriting and reinsurance procedures are fully complied with
- Ensure the applicable guidelines are complied with
- Understand and comply with the code of conduct and other regulation
- Management information
- Ensure the risk entry is maintained
- Working with the Portfolio Management team to produce regular premium and claim reports
- Updating internal stakeholders on the new or changes in Reinsurance arrangement

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of related working experience in insurance and/or reinsurance industry
- Knowledge about personal lines insurance is a plus
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability to changes
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and influence them
