Ensure compliance with OSHA, FMA, Environmental Quality Act, and highway construction regulations (e.g., JKR, CIDB, DOE).
- Conduct HIRARC for highway activities such as road works, traffic diversions, heavy machinery use, and working at height.
- Monitor high-risk work areas including live traffic zones, excavation sites, slopes, and night work operations.
- Conduct and document daily toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use and availability of PPE; coordinate with site admin for inventory control and issuance.
- Monitor and manage environmental risks including dust, erosion, water runoff, noise, and waste disposal.
- Oversee implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Erosion & Sediment Control Plans (ESCP).
- Conduct basic safety and environmental training for workers; ensure contractor/subcontractor compliance.
- Maintain HSE records and reports; liaise with DOSH, DOE, CIDB during audits and support HR in safety-related disciplinary matters.

Requirement:

- At least Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health qualification or equivalent.
- Green book holder registered to Malaysia Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) as Safety & Health Officer (SHO)
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Health, Safety and Environmental working experience **preferably in Earthwork and Infra works.**:

- Familiarize with Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Willing to work in Johor Bahru

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johor Bahru (Johor Bahru): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
