The HR Advisor is accountable for the delivery of the full range of HR support to local employees in Malaysia. If you have a strong desire to create an exceptional employee experience, this could be an ideal job to make a difference

**Principal Accountabilities**:
As HR Advisor, you will be responsible for managing simple and complex local HR processes in line with existing policies and procedures, assuring high-quality data management in Workday, Salesforce and Shell People, including ongoing support to employees.
This role will provide:

- Management of cases according to established ways of working, including using Salesforce to log queries and updates, create cases, keep employees updated on the status of open cases and ensure satisfactory closure of cases
- Ownership of end-to-end processes
- Seamless hand-off of cases to other teams as required
- Timely escalation of complex queries to P&S, Team Lead and/or Country Policy team
- Liaising with HR Partners, employees and line managers as required to resolve cases
- Input for Knowledge Management within the team (including creation and ownership of documentation/job aids)
- Sharing best practices within the team, striving for continuous improvement in service delivery and participating in improvement initiatives
- Adhering to the Global Approvals Matrix (GAM), Financial Control Manual (implementing all established financial controls in daily work) and Data Privacy rules, including reporting any FCM or Data Privacy breaches

- Proven ability to prioritize and deliver to deadlines with high quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Empathy when dealing with sensitive situations/difficult conversations
- Assertiveness and courage to challenge
- Fresh graduates with 0 - 2 years of working experience are welcome to apply
