**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities on the production floor, ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, and machinery.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution of manufacturing tasks related to railway components or rolling stock.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Identify bottlenecks or process delays and implement corrective actions to maintain workflow.
- Coordinate with planning, quality control, engineering, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper allocation of tasks and responsibilities to team members and resolve any on-ground issues.
- Maintain records of production output, downtime, material usage, and workforce performance.
- Support training and development of technicians and line workers to improve productivity and skill levels.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.Experience in the railway, heavy engineering, or automotive industry is highly preferred.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of production processes, mechanical assembly, and industrial safety
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and other operational excellence practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and production plans
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems)
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive, organized, and result-oriented
- **Other Requirements**:

- Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours as required
- Knowledge of railway industry standards and regulatory compliance (an advantage)

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
