Maintenance & Materials Data Analyst

**Overview**:

- rhi are seeking a Maintenance & Materials Data Analyst to join our clients team based in KL, Malaysia, on an initial 12-month contract.

This role is to support our clients performance intelligence efforts by transforming complex SAP PM and MM datasets into actionable insights. This role will focus on analysing schedule adherence, material availability, and root causes of maintenance order related issues using advanced data engineering and visualization tools.
- Working hours will be normal working hours (9AM - 6PM) - Flexible for night call if any as covering UK stakeholder.
- Immediate starter preferred
- Must have proficiency in **SAP, SQL and Power Bi**

**Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Partner with stakeholders from Procurement, Maintenance and Material Management team to understand problem statements, refining requirements & provide insights & analytics solutions to drive business decision.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track schedule adherence and material readiness across maintenance orders.
- Extract, analyse, and interpret large datasets from SAP modules, primarily Materials Management (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) tables in the Azure Datahub to support reporting and analytics
- Work with Technology colleague on data requirement and data ingestion as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and recommend system enhancements within SAP to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Provide support and training to end-users on reporting tools, data analysis best practices, and SAP processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for reporting procedures and master data processes

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Minimum of **6 years’ experience** in the analytics field covering **data management & stakeholder engagement**.

**Technical Skill**:

- Proven experience with SAP PM and MM modules, especially in maintenance order and material management data.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks for scalable data processing.
- Advanced skills in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Familiarity with SAP change document tracking and historical snapshot comparisons.

**Analytical and soft skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and plant maintenance processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships
