**Project Controls Manager**

Supports the project manager in maintaining overall project control, with responsibility for overseeing Cost Engineering, Planning and Scheduling, Progress Monitoring, Risk Management, and Reporting (internal and to clients/partners).

The scope of work may also include cost estimating, contract management, financial control, quantity management, document control, equipment and materials control, depending on the organisation and the projects.

Provides Project Baseline and Budget.

Assures that project operations are carried out in compliance with Project Control disciplines and Business Management System (BMS).

In accordance with the specified Project Execution Plan and strategy, allocates project cost budget to relevant disciplines and tracks the evolution of expenditure actual and projected

In collaboration with project controls and contract departments, improves and ensures the implementation of the control team, control procedures, and tools, then supervises throughout the project lifecycle.

Challenges and provides short and medium term picture to project management on project status, trend, and risks to the Project Manager. Planning, scheduling, and reporting on the project (including scope management, project deliverables, project structure breakdowns, and work breakdown schedule management, schedule forecasting, corrective action, progress measurement/reporting, productivity calculations and analysis, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organisation Breakdown Structure (OBS), Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS), etc.

Monitoring of quantities, management of earned value

Ensures that contracts, change/variation orders, and trend analysis are managed.

Issues reports internally and to clients and partners;
**Forensic schedule **analysis;**

**Risk and delay claims** (risk assessment and management; delay claims quantification);
Issues reports;
At project close-out, responsible to issue feedback report and lessons learned, for Project feedback but also for discipline data-base.

**Experience**

A degree in engineering or a comparable credential

Strong team leadership abilities and experience with network administration across cultural differences. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls. Fluent English. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant project control IT technologies ie. Primavera.

A thorough awareness of and expertise with the processes and principles of commercial management
