Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Singapore Supermarket Warehouse Full time

Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Group management
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
- Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliations, sales and costs reconciliations etc.)
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise
- Ensure that monthly account report and records comply with laws and regulations
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement, audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
- Lead the accounting team of 3 finance executives
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirement:

- Must have a Degree in Accounting or equivalent with 3-4 years’ post-degree experience
- A self-starter who is able to plan, organise and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Proactive, can-do attitude, and passionate about work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, VBA/Macros would be an advantage

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
