The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring a pleasant café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
- Keep the café area clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
- Assist in stocking, rotating, and monitoring inventory of beverages and café supplies.
- Handle cash, operate POS systems, and process transactions accurately.
- Work effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is an advantage (training provided).
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and latte art is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Positive attitude, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Flexible to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Working Conditions:
- Standing for long periods.
- Working with hot beverages and equipment.
- Fast-paced café environment.
Pay: RM1,800.00 per month
