JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Media Solutions Executive for Astro Media Solutions will be joining a high-performing and collaborative team that works hard and fast to grow and maintain strong relationships with direct clients and media agencies and influence buy-in. This role particularly is responsible in growing Indian Platforms Advertising Business (Astro Ulagam / Raaga / Astro Indian TV Channels).- Drive advertising growth with media agencies and clients
- Sell integrated solutions across television, radio, digital, social media and influencer marketing
- Play an active role in managing existing accounts, developing our multi-product strategy, and winning new businesses across Malaysia.
- Understand clients’ needs and challenges and translate them in a clear and well written brief for idea development
- Work closely with Advertising Operations team to ensure optimal client experience and outcome for campaigns
- Educate the market on Astro Media Solutions’ current and news advertising opportunities.
- Be the go-to expert of our media solutions and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and media agencies
- Deliver effective sales pitch with good product knowledge
- Prospecting for new clients and growing existing key clients spend
- Sales forecasting and accurate reporting
- Review competitors and identify new sales opportunities for market development.
- Roll out research projects and generate insights that help to strengthen Astro's selling proposition
- Represent Astro Media Solution at trade events and client’s events

**REQUIREMENTS**:
REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma graduates in Sales or Marketing with related experience preferably in media, public relations, advertising or broadcasting industry.
- Minimum 1 year experience in business development/sales or related environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft skills - Word/Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking with good command of English.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills with an aggressive attitude in sales and marketing.
- Possessed strategic thinking in planning, organizing and implementation with problem solving skills
- Good customer service skills and people-oriented person.
- Willing to travel and be mobile.
