Halal Executive @ Moonlight

*Job Summary**:
The Halal Executive will oversee and ensure compliance with halal standards and certifications within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments, suppliers, and certification bodies to uphold halal integrity in all products and processes. The Halal Executive will also be responsible for educating staff and stakeholders on halal practices and principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Halal Compliance**:

- Ensure all products and processes comply with halal standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of production facilities, suppliers, and vendors.

2. **Certification Management**:

- Liaise with halal certification bodies to obtain and maintain necessary certifications.
- Prepare and submit documentation required for halal certification and renewal.

3. **Training and Education**:

- Develop and deliver training programs on halal principles for staff at all levels.
- Provide guidance on halal practices to relevant departments (e.g., production, procurement, marketing).

4. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of halal certifications, audits, and compliance checks.
- Prepare reports on halal status and initiatives for management review.

5. **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure halal compliance of raw materials and ingredients.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to promote understanding of halal products and practices.

6. **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated on changes in halal regulations and industry trends.
- Propose improvements to enhance halal compliance and quality assurance processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Previous experience in halal compliance, quality assurance, or a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of halal standards and certification processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification from recognized halal organizations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- May require occasional travel to suppliers and production sites.
- Office-based role with potential on-site audits and inspections.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
