Responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing all HSE policies, processes and procedures within the EPC Division in compliance with local & international regulations and the overall policies and objectives

- Attend months visible Safety Leadership (VSL) inspections in the yard
- HAZID workshop planning, facilitation coordination and attendance
- Attending model reviews and providing advice on access / egress in design (if required)
- EPC project audit plans and conducting audits
- Develop and maintain action tracking for all observations / OFIs / NCRs
- Developing org chart, manning requirement, roles and responsibilities, recruiting, retention, performance reviews for each project.
- Setting KPI’s for each EPC projects (leading and lagging) as per the client requirement
- Developing project HSE reporting system to EPC division
- Develop incentive plans for project wise.
- Leading Investigations for all incidents on the project
- Audit Internal & External for all EPC projects globally
- The EPC Division health, safety, and environment (HSE), security, to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with both standard and regulatory requirements as relevant for all projects.
- Maintain the project schedule and safety standards to meet the customer requirements.
- Involve in high level investigation & Investigate accidents effectively and determine root cause analysis along with project clients.
- Identify and act upon opportunities for improvement to safety related matters.
- Liaise with project managers / client / stakeholders as deemed necessary for discussion on project safety matters and resolve issues.
- Oversee the requirement of client’s manpower, equipment and various other resource requirements and ensure optimum use of the same by ensuring cost control is exercised throughout the year.
- Implement and monitor EPC policy & procedures to meet the EPC project requirements
- Coordinates loss prevention insurance reviews and associated action plans Drive and support the business in implementing HSE Contractor and Contract management process and standards. Continuously develop the risk-based contractor and contract management standards, reflecting the scope and needs of the EPC business including the growth in third party services Support procurement process of global tenders EPC projects - prequalification of contractors and definition of methods of control and mitigation of risks as per client’s project requirement.
- 10 to 12 years working experience in HSE or related field in conversion and new building, oil& gas facilities with minimum of 2 to 3 years as functional head.
- Recognized degree in HSE/Science or Engineering or any related discipline
- Prior experience in a large ship repair/new building, steel fabrication yard, oil & gas or offshore marine organization.

Pay: RM45,000.00 - RM50,000.00 per month
