**Primary Objective**:

- Support the implementation of Group-wide Operational Risk Control Self
- Assessment’s, Key Control Testing’s and Key Risk Indicator’s methodology, procedures and processes;
- Analyse and report the Operational Risk Profile of the respective business/functional group, entities and Group
- Drive the implementation of BRCO programme for Group Operational Risk Management.
- Drive the identification of emerging operational risks for the Group through analysis of existing risk profiles and risk incidents;
- Escalate KRI breaches / red triggers and KCT exceptions and monitor the action plans via portfolio analysis report to Senior Management;
- Assist and support Head of Operational Risk Governance and Assurance in completion of Material Risk Assessment (MRA) for Operational Risk’s section;
- Assist and support the Head of Operational Risk Governance and Assurance on cultivating risk culture within the Group (SBGs/SFGs and all regional offices);
- Implement operational risk initiatives, provide consultation and informed judgment on risk issues to the Group.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Roll-out the implementation of the Group Operational Risk Management framework across the Group to identify, assess, measure, monitor and mitigate operational risk exposure / likelihood.
- Establish an effective partnership with the SBG & SFG towards managing their operational risks to be in line with the Group’s Business objectives.
- Advisory to the SBGs / SFGs on risk mitigation measures within operations especially on high-risk areas.
- Review and maintain RCSA, KCT & KRI Guidelines to ensure continued relevance and consistency with the Group Operational Risk Management framework.

**Key Control Testing (KCT)**
- Establish and implement KCT as an Operational Risk Management (ORM tools) across the Group.
- Conduct KCT workshop / training to promote operational risk culture, drive consistency and understanding of KCT.
- Act as KCT Specialist:

- To provide guidance on KCT policy, procedures and tools for the Group.
- To provide secondary review, concur and / or challenge SBGs/SFGs’ development / changes of Group and Business-Specific KCT test plan including the frequency to ensure it is in line with changes to the policy, process, internal controls and regulation.
- Produce periodical Executive Summary that consists of pertinent information such as KCT exceptions and action plans via presentation of portfolio analysis report to enable management to make an informed decisions in managing day-to-day operational risks.

**Key Risk Indicator (KRI)**
- Implementation of Key Risk Indicators within the Banking Group for monitoring of risk profiles, adequacy of existing controls and identification of emerging risks.
- Act as KCT Specialist:

- To provide guidance on KRI procedures, guidelines and tools for the Group.
- To provide secondary review, concur and / or challenge SBGs/SFGs’ development / changes on their KRI statements
- Monthly/Quarterly Reporting to Management / Risk Committee on KRI result.
- Perform Quality Assurance on Key Risk Indicators submitted by business/ functional units
- Work closely with system support team and system vendor to continuously improve system and processes for KRI reporting and analytics.

**Business Risk & Compliance Office (BRCO) Programme & Training**
- Develop and Manage BRCO’s KPI setting and yearly review.
- Develop and conduct an onboarding session for newly appointed BRCO/ RRCO/ FRCO/ ORCO/ BRCC etc.
- Manage and conduct BRCO forums, platform for the BRCOs to share and keep abreast with Operational Risk Management related.
- Develop & provide training on Operational Risk Management awareness to staff in cultivating risk culture (ORA).
- Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree - business/accountancy or other related professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3 year experience in Operational Risk management in an established financial services institution.
- Intimate knowledge and proven track record on implementation of Operational Risk management methodology to a holistic risk management framework.
- Able to understand and incorporate the Group’s strategic objectives, and business models within the risk management framework.
- Excellent analytical, oral and written skills.
