**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to oversee regulatory compliance and maintain effective controls that align with standards in digital finance. This position is essential for managing risk, ensuring regulatory adherence, and promoting a compliant culture within Blocktrade.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Regulatory Compliance**: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, especially those affecting digital asset transactions and financial services.
- **AML and KYC Management**: Implement and oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory alignment.
- **Internal Audits and Risk Assessment**: Conduct regular internal audits to identify compliance gaps, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
- **Transaction Monitoring**: Oversee digital asset transactions for unusual or suspicious activity, collaborating with the finance team for accurate reporting.
- **Training and Education**: Conduct training sessions on compliance policies to ensure teams understand and adhere to regulatory standards.
- **Regulatory Reporting**: Prepare compliance reports and liaise with regulatory authorities, staying informed on regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field; compliance certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE) are preferred.
- **Experience**: 4+ years in compliance, ideally within fintech, digital assets, or financial services.
- **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with compliance and risk management software, and advanced Excel skills for reporting.
- **Legal Knowledge**: Strong understanding of financial regulations, AML/KYC laws, and other relevant legislation in digital finance.
- **Analytical Abilities**: High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- **Communication Skills**: Clear, well-spoken communicator who can effectively explain compliance requirements to teams.
