Food and Beverage Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
- To assist the Manager / Asst. Manager in overseeing and ensuring daily smooth operations including banqueting functions and events organized by the Club.
- To ensure sufficient stocks for daily use at outlets.
- To prepare duty roster and staff roster for meal breaks.
- To ensure the standards of service are delivered.
- To assist in the monthly F & B promotions.
- To guide / train new service staff.
- To ensure daily cash and credit collections are in order.
- To ensure neatness and cleanliness of workstation including hygiene aspects.
- To attend to complaints, feedbacks and remedy situations.
- To ensure that all stocks are accounted for.
- To record daily sales report.
- To delegate duties to Outlet Captains.
- Any other duties may be assigned to you from time to time by the Management.
- Monitors quality product and presentation of food and drinks.
- Has knowledge of the outlet’s menu and drinks, the standard quantity, presentation and preparation.
- Presents menu, takes order, offers suggestions and promotes hotel’s specialties.
- Handles guest complains professionally and tactfully.
- Checks the accuracy of the guest’s bill before it is presented to the guest.
- Capable of operating all the equipment in the outlet.
- Capable of performing cashiering responsibilities, including the operation of cash register.
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of Food and Beverage Supervisor experience in hotel line is preferable or equivalent experience.
- Proficient to speak, write and read in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations and preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of beverage operations and wines.
- Strong mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other hotel financial statements.
- Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
- Able to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Strong interpersonal skill and problem solving abilities.
- Good in computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.).
- High level of integrity and sense of responsibility with commitment to good governance.
- Training skills. Responsible for training the associates.
- Leadership skills.
- Good communicator, independent with good organization and multitasking skills.
- Willing to work on shift basis.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

**Education**:
- STM/STPM (preferred)
**Experience**:
- working experience in four or five stars hotel/ fine dining: 4 years (preferred)
