Position level: Principal / Manager

** Overseeing HVAC (include support for equipment maintenance team when needed), Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP).**

** Cleanroom maintenance of Class 1k and 10k.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Specializing in operations and maintenance, will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of critical infrastructure supporting manufacturing processes.
- By leveraging technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and strategic vision, drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and position the facility for sustainable growth and success in a dynamic and competitive operation landscape.
- Manage and actively participate in the day-to-day operations of facility systems and equipment, including cleanrooms, HVAC, process utilities (CDA, Process Vacuum, Process Gasses, and Liquid Nitrogen), fire protection systems and involve in preventive maintenance of process equipment.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and industry standards (OSH, ISO) across all operational activities.
- Lead a team of Engineers and Technicians in executing comprehensive preventive maintenance programs across all production lines to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Supervise facility staff and contractors, ensuring timely and quality completion of maintenance work and projects.
- Provide guidance and support to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee Mechanical Systems of the plant, inclusive of HVAC, Process Utilities (CDA, Process Vacuum, Process Gasses, Water Storage and Liquid Nitrogen), ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
- Lead project management activities related to facility expansion and cleanroom projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and commissioning.
- Identify and implement improvement and cost-saving projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Record and analyze environmental and facility monitoring data, including cleanroom environments, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure planned maintenance activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and safety protocols.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions in response to abnormalities or audit findings, driving continuous improvement in facility operations.
- Manage Waste Water Treatment operations and schedule waste disposal in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements, including fire safety and occupational health standards.
- Respond promptly to property-related emergencies and address facility issues to minimize disruptions and ensure employee safety.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall facility operations and objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics/Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in facility management, including cleanroom environments.
- Strong background in facility, preventive maintenance, and equipment/machinery maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of building facility maintenance practices and legal requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross
- functional teams.
- Familiarity with AHU/ADU systems in cleanrooms, CDA compressors, chillers, and up to 415V electrical systems.
- Fundamental understanding of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration principles.
- Preferable **certification as AO Chargeman/Wireman** PW4(NIL).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic semiconductor manufacturing environment.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- HVAC: 8 years (preferred)
- Waste Water Treatment plant (WWTP): 5 years (preferred)
- Semiconductor industry facility/ maintenance: 5 years (preferred)
