**Job Title: Project Manager**
**Location: Tanjong Malim, Perak**
**Industry: Automotive Manufacturing**

**Job Descriptions**:

- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource planning, and risk assessments.
- Liaise directly with Proton project teams, internal departments (engineering, procurement, production, quality), and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project progress using KPIs and performance metrics; prepare regular reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate APQP/PPAP processes and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
- Oversee tooling, equipment commissioning, and product launch phases, including product validation and sample submissions.
- Manage project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and resolve any issues or bottlenecks proactively.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and submitted timely.
- Support change management, engineering change requests (ECRs), and revisions as required.
- Lead project review meetings and drive resolution of any technical, timeline, or supplier issues.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, preferably with Tier-1 or OEM vendors.
- Familiarity with automotive project management processes or prior experience working with automotive industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
- PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
