**Your challenges**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive risk management framework and strategy that aligns with our company's overall objectives and risk appetite.
- Identify, evaluate, and assess potential risks spanning the breadth of our company, encompassing operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational aspects.
- Deploy sophisticated risk assessment methodologies and cutting-edge tools to proactively evaluate the potential impact, likelihood, and emerging nature of the risks identified, keeping our organisation one step ahead.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders and department heads to establish well-defined risk tolerances and formulate robust risk mitigation plans tailored to each specific business area.
- Design and implement meticulous risk management policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring strict compliance with regulations and adherence to industry best practices.
- Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and implement rigorous risk monitoring processes to detect and monitor emerging risks at an early stage effectively.
- Offer valuable insights and proactive assistance to various departments, seamlessly embedding risk management practices into their day-to-day operations.
- Foster and nurture strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry colleagues, and risk management groups, to remain abreast of emerging risks and evolving industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- 15+ years in risk management roles within the financial services industry, preferably in fintech or a similar regulated environment
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree
- In-depth understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks such as COSO ERM and ISO 31000
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry-specific risk management practices
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide risk management frameworks and strategies that align risk management initiatives with the company's strategic objectives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans
- Strong leadership ability with a track record of successfully managing and developing a risk management team
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
