Account Assistant

**About the Company**:
Our client is a leading player in the duty-free industry, offering premium products across multiple categories such as luxury goods, beauty, fashion, spirits, and more. With a strong presence globally, they are now expanding into the Malaysian market and seeking a Account Assistant to manage the company's accounting operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time.
- Assist with bank, supplier, and petty cash reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Handle invoice generation, billing, and follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing GST, SST, or VAT submissions (if applicable).
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems.
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for finance-related issues.
- Support the finance team in audits and budget tracking
**Requirements**:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or SQL Accounting).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
