**Job Overview**

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services essential for our operations. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

**Responsibilities**
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Work cross-functionally with departments to meet operational needs
- Track delivery and ensure proper documentation is completed
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve any issues

**Qualifications**
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management
- 1-3 years of purchasing/procurement experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor management
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- ⁠Willing to travel or visit suppliers when necessary
- ⁠Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Chinese is a plus, as the role involves frequent communication with Chinese suppliers)

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
