**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and SEO audits to identify areas for improvement on our website.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies including meta tags, headers, and content optimization to improve search engine rankings.
- Develop and execute link-building campaigns to enhance our website's authority and rankings.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO-friendly content that drives traffic and engagement.
- Monitor and report on website performance and search rankings, using tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance on our WordPress website, ensuring high performance and security.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements and enhance user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SEO, website performance, or functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with App Store Optimization (ASO) is a plus.
- Proven experience in SEO with a track record of improving search rankings and driving traffic.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress website development, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Proficiency in web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO.
- Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile SEO considerations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Any certifications related to SEO or WordPress; for example, Google Analytics Certification, Yoast SEO Academy, etc.
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), with the ability to understand and engage with Chinese-speaking markets and perform SEO for Chinese content.
- Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks and assist with various projects as our startup grows and evolves. This may include helping with digital marketing campaigns, content creation, or other tasks outside of typical SEO duties.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in SEO and website development.
- Must be fluent in English and Chinese, with professional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
