**Introduction**:
The primary role of a Survey Programmer is to program survey for projects of varying complexity. As the business is going more online and more tailor-made, the role is expected to develop customized programming solutions to client’s requests and demands.

**Responsibilities**:
Programming Surveys
- Program surveys using proprietary market research software. Able to refine and further develop these up to current standards and policies. (Training to be provided)
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on programmed survey ensuring high standards are met.
- Debug and correct issues on the survey from comments provided by internal and client’s teams.

Custom Specialist
- Create custom solutions to client’s request on survey programming through utilization of various programming languages
- Ability to assess the request and lead the research and development if it is deemed necessary.
- Propose plan of action that meets expectation in a client-friendly manner but without losing the important details.
- Able to find alternative solutions and think on their feet if the client goes the other way
- Proactively improve the team’s capability on customized solutions

Soft skills
- Help to define the details related to the Survey programming, like plan timeline, resource required and potential roadblock
- Closely liaise with Project Manager for own projects briefing and post survey information
- Escalate any outstanding issue to Team Leader as soon as identified
- Help maintain and improve Toluna services and operations quality standards
- Interact with clients by phone or face to face on request

- Knowledge in Content Management System
- Proficient with MS-Office (Word and Excel)
- Time management, priorities management and marketing skills essential
- Innovative thinking (outside the box thinking & offering alternative approaches to problems/needs, etc.)
- Solution oriented
- Flexible, proactive and hands on approach with a can-do attitude
- Available for some late working hours based on team and business requirements
- Good verbal and written language skills for English (required);
- Preferred knowledge (good to have but not mandatory )

1. Minimum 1-2 year experience in survey programming using (Dimensions, Decipher, Confirmit, etc.)

2. Knowledge in Market research
