IFF is looking for a Assistant Finance Manager, Malaysia to lead the finance function for IFF Malaysia.
This position can be based in Penang, Malaysia and will report into Regional Controller, Great Asia.

**How you will contribute and lead**
- Responsible for the timely and accurate closing of the company’s monthly and yearly financial statements.
- Working closely with the regional center to ensure accurate and timely processing and approval of vendor invoices and employee claims.
- Support operation and business reporting.
- Uphold sound internal controls in the company’s operational processes and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors and internal auditors in the timely completion of audits and tax related filings.
- Liaise with government authorities and prepare necessary reports for monthly and quarterly submission.
- Participate in continuous improvement of accounting process and ad hoc finance related projects in accordance with the company’s direction.
- Accountable for accurate and timely financial month end closing in accordance to corporate guidelines and schedules.
- Communicate with a broad range of stakeholders to complete the process and to work on tight deadline.
- Job Requirements

**What you will need to be successful**
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong Microsoft Office suite (Especially Excel).
- Minimum Working experience of 5 years.
- Sound Financial and Analytical Skills.
- Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and be proactive.
- Maintain high standard of attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively cross functionally with others in the region.
