Application Support**: - Collaborate with L1 support and escalate complex issues to L3/engineering teams as needed." **2. Monitoring and Maintenance**: - Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and potential issues. - Perform regular maintenance tasks such as clearing logs, restarting services, and patch updates." **3. Incident and Problem Management**: - Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions. - Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow). - Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs." **4. Scripting and Automation**: - Develop and maintain shell scripts for process automation and system monitoring. **5. Database Support (PL/SQL)**: - Write and execute SQL and PL/SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data for troubleshooting. - Optimize queries for performance and collaborate with DBAs for database-related issues. - Ensure proper data integrity and support data-related activities such as imports, exports, and audits." **Technical Skills**: - Strong knowledge of shell scripting and experience with process automation. - Proficiency in PL/SQL, including query writing, debugging, and optimization. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments." **2. Tools and Technologies**: - Monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Dynatrace, or equivalent). - Ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow). - Version control systems (e.g., Git)."
