**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role as a **Purchasing Supervisor **at **PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd** **Packaging Division **(A Member Of Wilmar Group Of Companies) located in **Pasir Gudang**.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in any field.
- Experience in purchasing is preferable.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct annual research to identify productivity improvements through supplier cost reduction and resource optimization.
- Resolve chronic delivery and quality issues with parts and suppliers.
- Manage vendor contract stocking agreements, including annual reviews for renewal qualifications.
- Oversee costs associated with components and raw material inventory.
- Assist materials and planning supervisors in setting inventory goals for assigned product lines.
- Support manufacturing operations by providing accurate and timely purchasing schedules.
- Collaborate with the master scheduler to ensure raw materials meet manufacturing requirements.
- Lead the management of key strategic relationships with purchasing groups in customer divisions.
- Work with internal personnel to develop effective purchasing strategies.
- Partner with sales and manufacturing teams to identify and source new or alternate raw materials to meet customer needs.
- Act as the lead negotiator for plant purchasing plans, overseeing both short
- and long-term schedules.
- Maintain purchasing procedures in compliance with ISO standards.
- Analyze potential suppliers and conduct annual reviews of existing suppliers, focusing on costs, quality, delivery, and other relevant factors.
- Establish and uphold clear and effective purchasing policies and procedures.
- Manage new assignments and tasks as required.
- Execute any additional duties as directed by supervisors for the benefit of the company.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
