PAYROLL MANAGEMENT 1.1 HQ & DC '¢ Review payroll file provided by the payroll outsourced team ensuring that there is 100% accuracy compliance with all local statutory requirements (EPF, Income Tax, PERKESO and any other legislation). '¢ Ensure payroll file is approved 2 working days in advance and final file uploaded 1 working day before salary pay out day (27th of every month) '¢ Ensure timely compliance with local statutory payments (EPF, Income Tax, PERKESO and any other legislation) are 100% accurate and paid to the relevant authorities in a timely manner '¢ Ensure all salary change cycle (annual increment, bonus, promotion) is updated, carried out in a timely manner with 100% accuracy '¢ Ensure all statutory portal is updated whenever there is changes (new hire registration for statutory: EPF, PERKESO and any other legislation) '¢ Ensure all payroll records are up to date and filed '¢ To prepare and ensure all monthly and yearly statutory filing are completed with 100% accuracy and submitted in a timely manner per the deadlines by the respective statutory bodies. '¢ To ensure that all communication with relevant authorities on payroll matters are communicated in a clear and professional manner '¢ To ensure all payroll related reports required by the management are extracted from the payroll system, consolidated, and reflected in the format required by the respective stakeholder reflecting 100% accurate data in a timely manner '¢ To ensure all tax related documents (EA, CP22, PCBII) are provided to employees accurately on a timely manner 1.2 K-Scheme '¢ Review commission file with 100% accuracy compliance with tax compliance '¢ Ensure that the file is approved 2 days in advance and final file uploaded 1 working day before pay out '¢ To prepare and ensure all monthly and yearly statutory filing (Income Tax) are completed with 100% accuracy and submitted in a timely manner per the deadlines by the respective statutory bodies. '¢ liaise closely with necessary stakeholders to ensure that the pay-out for this scheme is done in a timely manner '¢ To ensure all tax related documents (EA, CP22, PCBII) are provided to Store Managers accurately on a timely manner 2. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS '¢ Support Compensation and Benefits (C&B) with any project work as required and roll out new initiatives '¢ Manage annual performance management and remuneration review process '¢ Engage with managers and the compensation/benefits team to seek solutions to resourcing issues including agreeing budget and drafting executive employment/consultancy agreements where required '¢ STIP / Bonus '“ assist in compiling all ratings for review and necessary reports related to STIP/bonus pay-outs. Assist in cyclical HR processes such as the performance appraisal process, the annual budget process and the pay/bonus review. '¢ Performance rating '“ assist in compiling all ratings from all departments for reporting and analysing purposes '¢ Expenses Claims '“ review of expenses claims filed by all departments. Ensuring that claims are processed and paid according to the set policies in a timely manner '¢ C&B Projects '“ to take lead in projects that centres around C&B, including enhancement of current C&B structure 3. BUSINESS PARTNERING AND PAYROLL ADVISORY '¢ Act as an initial point of contact for any Payroll queries for employees and managers/supervisors up to middle management level '¢ Administer redundancy calculations and associated paperwork '¢ Engage and build effective working relationships and trust with relevant stakeholders and senior managers to ensure the provision of proactive support and effective partnership '¢ Demonstrate Payroll expertise and knowledge of processes '¢ Work with the Head of Human Capital and/or HR Manager to ensure that Payroll policies and procedures remain compliant and current '¢ Contribute to the maintenance of trackers to pro-actively monitor dates and actions (eg payroll, compensation and benefit related tasks etc) '¢ To provide support in sourcing for vendors for payroll & benefit improvements
