1. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables, meat, and other ingredients.
- Prepare basic dishes like salads, garnishes, or side dishes, following recipes or instructions.
- Cook basic dishes under supervision, ensuring the correct cooking techniques and presentation.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers.
- Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen, including cleaning utensils, tools, and equipment.
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food storage and handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the proper storage of food and kitchen supplies to avoid spoilage.
- Ensure stock rotation by following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
- Help with inventory checks and replenishment of ingredients as needed.
- Work in collaboration with other kitchen staff to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth service and food preparation.
- Support colleagues in various kitchen tasks as needed.
- Attend training and development sessions to improve skills and learn new techniques.
- Learn and improve efficiency in the use of kitchen equipment and the preparation of menu items.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
